Izhbitza-Radzin

איזביצא ראדזין

Izhbitza-Radzin began when Rebbe Mordechai Yosef Leiner, the Mei HaShiloach, a talmid of Reb Bunim of Peshischa, broke with the Kotzker Rebbe on Simchas Torah 1839 and set up his own court, first in Tomashov and then in Izhbitza. His son the Beis Yaakov moved the court to Radzin, and his grandson Reb Gershon Chanoch, the Baal HaTecheiles, became the first to be called the Radziner Rebbe. After the Holocaust the chassidus was rebuilt in Eretz Yisroel by Rebbe Avrohom Yissochor Englard, and it is centred today in Bnei Brak.
