Radomsk

ראדומסק

Radomsk grew around Rebbe Shlomo HaKohen Rabinowitz, the Tiferes Shlomo, a talmid of Reb Meir of Apta who became Rav of Radomsk in 1834 and drew many chassidim of Radoshitz, Vorka and Lelov. Four generations of his family led it, father to son, until Rebbe Shlomo Chanoch, founder of the Keser Torah yeshivos, was murdered in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942. After the war the surviving chassidim in Eretz Yisroel crowned the Sochatchover Rebbe, Reb Menachem Shlomo Bornsztain, a descendant through his mother.
