Sassov
סאסוב
Sassov goes back to Reb Moshe Leib Erblich, a talmid of Reb Shmelke of Nikolsburg and the Maggid, famed for his love of every Jew; his son Reb Yekusiel Shmelke later led in the town. In the next century a grandson of the Sar Sholom of Belz, Reb Shlomo Meyer, became Rebbe there, and his descendants and sons-in-law (the Meyer-Teitelbaum and Rubin families) carried the name to Lemberg, Eretz Yisroel, New York and London.
