Savran–Bendery
סאווראן–בנדרי
Two sons of Reb Shimon Shlomo, the Maggid of Savran, built Chassidic courts of their own: Reb Moshe Tzvi Giterman led a large following from Savran and later Chechelnik, while his elder brother Reb Aryeh Leib Wertheim brought Chassidus to Bessarabia from Bendery. The Savran court split among Reb Moshe Tzvi's grandsons into Savran and Chechelnik lines, and a branch through the Hager family, begun at Stanovitz, carries the Savran title in Yerushalayim today.
