Sochatchov
סוכטשוב
Sochatchov grew out of Kotzk: its founder, Rebbe Avrohom Bornsztain, the Avnei Nezer, was the Kotzker Rebbe's talmid and son-in-law, and took on the leadership of Kotzk chassidim in 1870 after the passing of Reb Henich of Alexander. The court is known for its emphasis on deep Torah learning, through the works Avnei Nezer, Eglei Tal and Shem MiShmuel. After the Holocaust it was re-established in Eretz Yisroel and is led today from Jerusalem by his great-great-grandson.
