Stropkov
סטרופקוב
Stropkov is a branch of the Sanz family that grew out of Shinova. Its first Rebbe, Reb Avrohom Sholom Halberstam, the Divrei Sholom, was a son of the Shinover Rav and settled in Stropkov in 1898. His son Reb Menachem Mendel carried the court to Williamsburg after the Holocaust, and his nephew Reb Yechezkel Shraga Lipshitz-Halberstam rebuilt it in Yerushalayim, where his only son leads it today.
