A Book on Jewish Meditation

A story ofRav Arye Moshe Eliyohu Kaplanהרב אריה משה אליהו בן שמואל קפלן

One day Michelle Garner made a suggestion to Rav Kaplan. "There are so many books out on meditation, but nothing Jewish," she said. "Why don't you write something about Jewish meditation?"

"That is a great idea," he answered. In his typical fast-forward style, a few weeks later he asked the Garners whether they wanted to see the manuscript. Little did Michelle know at the time that, to her credit, she had helped inspire what became one of the classic texts for the Jewish meditator and spiritual seeker.
