The Prayer for Rain
Tefillah
It was a time of drought. Rav Chaim Avraham composed a personal tefillah of his own, asking and beseeching Hashem for rain, and it was answered immediately.
No sooner had he completed his tefillah than the sky grew dark with clouds and the rain began to pour down, to the amazement of all who were gathered there.
From then on he came to be known as Rabino del Acqua, the Rav of the Waters.
