The Hill at Ighi
It is told that Rav David Laskar was visiting the village of Zekarten, about five miles from Ighi, on his fundraising journey. Suddenly he sensed that his end was near.
He asked the members of the local burial society to follow him several kilometres, to a hill. As they dug a grave at his request, he purified himself in the river at the foot of the hill.
Then he climbed to the gravesite and commanded the earth to close around him.
