The Room of the Righteous
TefillahShabbos & Yom Tov
It is told that after the Yom Kippur War, Avraham Ben-Haim saw the image of Rav David U Moshe in a dream. In one of these dreams, Rav David U Moshe told him that he was leaving Morocco and coming to live in his house in Tzfas.
Following the dream, Ben-Haim built a room in his home, which came to be called the room of the righteous. In the room stood a bench with a number of tefillos and chapters of Tehillim laid out for use. Worshipers soon began to visit, and the place grew from there.
