A Rebbishe Clock
Emunah & bitachonTefillah
The Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz told that the Ahavas Sholom used to daven so loudly that his voice carried very far. The shepherds in the mountains of Kossov knew the time of day from his tefillos.
For example, when he reached the words in the tefillah, "Ha'aderes veha'emunah lechai ha'olamim," the shepherds would turn to one another and say in Russian, "Panyeh Rebi chai olamim," meaning "the Rebbe has reached chai ha'olamim." And they knew what time of day it was.
