The Ship That Sank

When Rav Moshe Dovid came to Rav Meir of Premishlan on his way to Eretz Yisroel, Rav Meir asked him to stay for Shabbos. Rav Moshe Dovid had planned to leave on Tuesday of that week, but he agreed to the wish of Rav Meir and remained.
After Shabbos he set out for the port to board the next ship. There he heard the news that the ship on which he had planned to travel had sunk.
