Running Straight to the Rebbe

It is told that Rav Nosson had a childhood friend, Reb Naftoli, who lived in Uman at the time of his passing. On Shabbos morning Reb Naftoli told those around him that he was certain Rav Nosson had passed away the previous evening. They asked how he could be so sure.

He explained that he had dreamed of Rav Nosson hurrying along. "Reb Noson," he called, "where are you running?" "Me?" answered Rav Nosson. "Straight to the Rebbe."
