One Hour of Repentance
Teshuvah
A man once came to Rav Asher of Stolin and said that he did not know how he could do teshuvah, because he had committed one of the sins for which repentance is said to be ineffective.
The Rebbe answered, "What does that have to do with you? Go ahead and do what you are obliged to do. As for whether you will be found worthy of a share in the World to Come, our Sages have already taught that one hour of repentance and good deeds in this world is better than all the life of the World to Come."
