If We Disagree, She Is Right
Children & shidduchim
Rav Shlomo Zalman once told Rav Meir Goldvicht that in his youth he was easily irritated. As soon as he became engaged, he told his kallah that he wanted to set up a method that would keep him from ever getting angry, and he asked for her full support whatever the method might be. She agreed.
After the chuppah, when they were alone for the first time in the cheder yichud, he told her what it was. With a twinkle in his eye, he said that the method was that if they ever disagreed about anything, she would be right.
