Not an Imposter
When the Rebbe Rashab began his tenure as Rebbe, his brother, the Raza, was asked whether he thought that the Rashab was worthy of being a Rebbe.
The Raza answered, "All things have a middle ground between their two extremes. For example, between a pauper and a wealthy man is the middle class. Between the two extremes of a cruel and a kind man there is also a middle path. But between a normal person and a Rebbe there is no in-between. Either he is a Rebbe or an imposter, and my brother is no imposter."
