Maybe He Is Not Your Father
TefillahShabbos & Yom Tov
The Sar Sholom of Belz once visited Rav Uri. He was accustomed to unusual movements and outcries while davening, and as he sat at Rav Uri's tisch (the Rebbe's public Shabbos meal) he cried out, "Oy, Tatte" - "Oh, Father in Heaven."
The Strelisker gave a roar, as was his custom, and called out in Aramaic, "And maybe He is not your Father?"
Rav Sholom understood that Rav Uri still had lessons to teach him for his growth in ruchniyus, and he remained in Strelisk for an entire year.
