Next Year in Yerushalayim

On Pesach the Melizter had the custom of taking the afikoman, wrapped in a white napkin, and carrying it over his shoulder while reciting the pesukim that tell how Bnei Yisroel carried their matzos wrapped on their backs. He walked this way for four amos (cubits). Those seated at the Seder asked him, "From where do you come?" and he answered, "I come from Mitzrayim." They asked, "And where are you headed?" He answered, "Yerushalayim," and they all replied, "Next year in Yerushalayim."
