Once, at the Belzer Rebbe's Seder, he sent one of the children to open the door for Eliyahu HaNavi during Shefoch Chamascha. When the child returned, the Rebbe asked the boy, "Nu, did you see Eliyahu HaNavi?"
When the child answered that he had not, the Rebbe's son-in-law turned to his father-in-law and asked, "Is it truly possible to see Eliyahu?"
The Rebbe answered, "You can see him, you can see. But he who sees not, his emunah is on a much higher level."
