The Students Who Copied for the Encyclopedia

While Rav Yitzchok was gathering the material for Pachad Yitzchak, some of his students helped him by copying out sources. In 1725 the administrators of the Talmud Torah forbade this, since they judged that it took the students away from their learning and his teaching.
