Every choice has an outcome

Rav Avraham Abulafia said that there is an outcome to all our choices. Whoever is drawn toward the vanities of temporality, his soul will survive in the vanities of temporality. Whoever is drawn after the Name, which is above temporality, his soul will survive in the eternal realm beyond time, in Hashem, blessed is He.
