The Goal of Judaism
Rav Uziel taught that Judaism has a message for the whole world. Its goal, he said, is "to live, to work, to build and to be built, to improve our world and our life, to raise ourselves and to raise others to the highest summit of human perfection and accomplishment." He urged that Torah Jews understand the latest scientific discoveries and value secular, and especially scientific, knowledge.
