Shemitta as the Key to the Geula

Rav Binyomin held that keeping Shemitta is a key to bringing about the geula. For this reason he was moser nefesh for Shemitta observance, in Komemiyus and in other places as well. In Komemiyus he led the community to observe Shemitta according to the opinion of the Chazon Ish, without relying on the heter mechira.
