Here Comes the Dreamer
On the words “And they said to one another, ‘Here comes the dreamer’” (37:19), the Be’er Mayim Chaim explains that the brothers argued logically. They had just sat in judgment and ruled that Yosef was liable for the death penalty, and here he was coming toward them. What was he doing there at that moment? Was his arrival not proof of Divine Providence, that from Heaven he had been sent to them so that they could remove him from the world, Heaven forbid?
