Opening the Door for Agunos

The Rebbe ended his writing on the agunos with a call to the Torah leaders of his generation. He asked them to give him room to stand by his own view, and he urged them to bring all their strength to bear on repairing the situation of the agunos. He wrote that he had opened for them an opening as small as the eye of a needle, and he asked them to open for him an opening as wide as the great hall of the Beis HaMikdash. He added that this would be counted to them as tzedakah, for the word of Hashem is true, and they shall live by it.
