Why He Wrote Tiferes Shlomo
Tefillah
In his introduction, Rav Shlomo wrote that he was beginning to put in writing, for himself, words of fear of Heaven and musar according to the order of the parshiyos of the Torah, for the sake of the union of Hashem with His Shechinah. He prayed that we should merit to learn and to teach, to observe and to act with fear and love, to see the consolation of Tzion and Yerushalayim, and to see Hashem's glory fill the earth speedily in our days.
