True Teshuvah
ParnassahTeshuvahSimcha
Rav Simcha Bunim once saw a merchant loading his wares onto a raft to float them down the river to their destination. Something went wrong, and the entire load sank. The man's distress at losing his merchandise was so great that he broke down and died on the spot. Rav Simcha Bunim declared: "Now that is how teshuvah is done."
