Tefillin Written by Yosef HaTzaddik
Rav Moshe Leib of Sassov once said that the parshiyos in his tefillin were written by Yosef HaTzaddik himself. The Darchei Teshuva, the Munkaczer Rebbe, explained that Rav Moshe Leib surely meant that the sofer (scribe) had the neshamah or the spiritual level of Yosef HaTzaddik, whether his soul or his stature. He added that no one can truly fathom the meaning of such holy tzaddikim.
