Action Over Abstraction
Torah learning
Rav Yechezkel held that in Torah study and in mussar the main thing is action, not abstract discussion. What counts is the final conclusion. For this reason he returned again and again in his responsa and lectures to the point that the essential thing is not to deny oneself or fast, but to do good deeds.
