Hashem Alone

Rav Yihya Qafih taught that only Hashem created the world, and that all prayer and worship must be directed to Him alone. In his letter to Rav Kook he argued that any teaching which directs prayer to an intermediary power, or credits such a power with creation, the Exodus or the giving of the Torah, contradicts the Torah of Moshe, whose plain meaning is that Hashem, and no other, did all these things for Israel.
