The Ahavas Yisrael once told his son, the Damesek Eliezer, that the holy Rizhiner testified to his followers and chassidim that merely to study the holy sefer Degel Machaneh Ephraim is a segulah for good children. In his words, "Lernen in Degel iz mesegual tzi gitte kinder."
