The Silver Ring Segulah

A segulah from Rav Yoel Baal Shem of Zamość was received by the author of the Kav HaYashar. One makes a ring of pure silver and engraves on it these holy Divine Names: שד"י, צמרכ"ד, אנקת"ם, פסת"ם, פספסי"ם, דיונסי"ם, יוה"ך, אדנ"י. The ring is then immersed in a kosher mikvah containing forty seah of water. Whoever wears it may go wherever he wishes, trusting in Hashem and confident that he will be saved from the sin of tumas keri (an impure emission), and he can rest peacefully without fear of it.
