Without Advance Preparation

One Shabbos, Rav Berish sat with the Seraph of Strelisk at the tisch. The Strelisker turned to him and honored him, saying, "Olesker Rebbe, please honor us with some divrei Torah, even without advance preparation."
Rav Berish answered with a verse from Devarim 3:23: "And I beseeched Hashem at that time, saying." To be able to speak "at that time," he explained, meaning without any advance preparation, we must first beseech Hashem to grant us the ability to do so.
