The Window Onto the Street

The windows of the study hall that faced the street were never opened, so that nothing would distract the students. Once a noise was heard outside. One of the students opened the window and looked out to see what was happening. Rav Simcha Zissel remarked that he saw no possibility that this student would become an accomplished person.
