Never Alone

Rav Arye Leib Kotshitzky, the chief Rav of Vlachlovik, once came to the Sefas Emes and complained of his situation. He led a kehillah with no chassidim in it, and he said, “I feel lonely.”
The Sefas Emes answered him, “Avrohom Avinu was also alone in his time. And besides, whoever holds himself up and steadies himself with a blatt Gemara is never alone.”
