The Bloodstained Siddur

The Av Beis Din of Payeh once owned a Berditchever Tefillah Yeshara siddur whose pages in the Kabbalas Shabbos service were stained with blood. When he was asked about it, he explained that this was the very siddur from which the Vitka Rav had davened. When the Vitka Rav struck the wall in his passion, the blood dripped onto the pages, and he himself took no notice.
