Be Master of Yourself

A father, remembered by his daughter Sheina Carlebach Berkowitz, believed that everyone should be master of himself. With Hashem guiding us, there is no excuse for stupidity or even depression, and we can all reach the top. He often told his children, "Just be smart." If anyone hurt her feelings, he would say, "You let that cockroach crawling on the floor have control over you?"
