Power Through the Mouth
Tefillah
The Shela HaKadosh teaches that Yaakov approached Esav with prayer, with gifts and with war, and that we approach Esav's descendants in the same three ways today. Our strength lies only in our mouths, in davening to Hashem in hard times. War in the sense of fighting the nations does not apply to us. Our war with them means activism: Jewish activists must boldly face kings and leaders and work for the good of the Jewish people. Even when the leaders throw them out in anger, they must keep coming back. This is our pillar of existence in exile, until Moshiach comes.
