The Opening of the Aron Kodesh

Rav Ben Tzion considered Maayan HaChinuch HaTorani, the federation of Sefardi Talmud Torahs that he founded with Rav Yehuda Tzadka and Chacham Ovadia Yosef, to be his life's work, and in its early days he paid for it himself.
Once he saw a school bus pull up beside a Talmud Torah and the children pour out joyfully. He turned to the person with him and said that the opening of the bus doors reminded him of the opening of the Aron Kodesh when a Sefer Torah is taken out. He told him he was jealous of the driver, because those children were on their way to Har Sinai to receive the Torah.
