Not a Minute Wasted
A story ofRav Chaim Pinchos Scheinbergהרב חיים פינחס בן יעקב יצחק שיינברגProfile ›
Rav Chaim Pinchos was known for never wasting a minute. When he flew abroad to raise funds for the yeshiva, he always took masechta Niddah along and tried to finish all seventy-two blatt during the flight. Even the minutes of walking or driving to the yeshiva went to learning.
His driver, Rav Asa Wittow, related that he kept a sefer open before him wherever he sat, even at a wedding. In the kitchen, he rested a Mishnah Berurah on the shelf over the sink and learned as he washed dishes.
