An elder Linsker chassid once told that he heard Rav Menachem Mendel of Rymanow ask, "What did Bnei Yisroel do from Rosh Chodesh Sivan until Kabbolas HaTorah? They had not yet received the Torah, so they were not yet studying it."
Then the Rebbe gave his answer. "In the meantime they were all reciting the berachah Ahavah Rabbah, how great is the love."
