The Sign at the Mikveh

When the mikveh was built, the gabbaim put up a sign, as many mikvaos do, saying that no one may use it without paying.

Reb Itzikel asked at once that the sign be taken down. In his mikveh, he said, no one may ever write or say that it is forbidden to immerse.
