The Mashgiach Hears a Droshoh

Once the Mashgiach asked Rav Brevda to tell him over a particular droshoh. The Mashgiach listened to the whole droshoh with great seriousness, following every word. In his later years the Mashgiach was hard of hearing, and anything he did not hear clearly he asked Rav Brevda to repeat.

When Rav Brevda had finished, the Mashgiach's face was radiant with simchah and nachas. He said, "I see that you are successful. I bless you that you should continue to be matzliach."
