Love every Jew

Why should we love every Jew as ourselves? Because at the level of the soul, all Jews share one source and are truly one family; only bodies divide us. A person who values the soul over the body will find it natural to love every Jew, great or small. Love built only on physical or passing things is conditional; love built on the soul is constant. The Alter Rebbe adds that one should try to draw even distant people close with ropes of love.
