Redemption Begins Within

Rav Eliyahu taught that each person's own spiritual refinement leads to his personal redemption. Joined with the refinement of others, it produces a nation of purified individuals, a cohesive unit that hastens the final redemption. We must exert ourselves to bring it as soon as possible, he said, because the people grow weaker in exile day by day and the task grows progressively harder.
