Libraries for Religious Youth

When many leading Rebbes and rabbanim opposed clubs and libraries for religious working youth, Rav Meir Dan ruled that such libraries were a need of the times. Libraries for young people, he said, would keep them from reading forbidden and dangerous books that corrupt the soul, and would not, Heaven forbid, prevent the study of Torah.
