Submission in Deeds
TefillahTorah learning
A teaching ofRav Meir Dan Platzkyהרב מאיר דן בן חיים יצחק פלצקי
Rav Meir Dan taught that every person needs real submission, and not only in the heart. Just as tefillah must be spoken with the mouth, so submission must be expressed in actions. A person who has no teacher and submits to no one only lowers his own stature, since above every person there is a higher power, and Hashem helps him. For this reason he saw in Chassidus something that completes a person's Torah study and good deeds, without which everything is lacking.
