Azamra – find the good point
TeshuvahSimcha
In the famous teaching known as Azamra ('I will sing'), Rebbe Nachman instructs us to search for at least a little good in every person, even in someone who seems completely wicked. By judging him favorably we can actually lift him up. A person must do the same for himself: rather than falling into despair over his failings, he should find his own good points and 'sing' to Hashem with them. This brings joy and true teshuvah.
