Hisbodedus – speaking to Hashem in your own words
TefillahChildren & shidduchim
Rebbe Nachman calls hisbodedus, secluded personal prayer, the highest path of all. Each day a person should set aside time – ideally an hour – to speak to Hashem in his own language, like a child talking to a loving father, pouring out his heart about everything in his life. Even if the words don't flow, simply repeating 'Ribbono shel Olam' or sitting before Hashem in longing has great value.
