Kabbolos for a New Year
One Tishrei, Rav Yehuda Zev took on a set of kabbolos that show what he aspired to. They included seeking to do acts of kindness even for someone who has hurt him, controlling his thoughts, going to sleep while thinking in Torah, always reflecting on Torah or mussar, and weighing the effect of his words before speaking them.
